Job Summary

3 Month Contract With A local Authority

Job Purpose

We are seeking a reliable and versatile Multi-Skilled Operative to carry out routine maintenance across our occupied properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance work ensuring tenant satisfaction and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out general maintenance tasks including but not limited to:
- Carpentry (doors furniture fixtures)
- Plumbing (repairs installations leak fixes)
- Tiling (walls floors bathrooms)
- Plastering and patch repairs
- Bricklaying and masonry work
- Fencing and garden structures
- Flooring (installation repair maintenance)
- Groundworks (minor landscaping drainage and site preparation)
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants.
Maintain accurate records of work carried out and materials used.
Identify potential health and safety hazards and report as necessary.
Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes and health & safety regulations.
Liaise with contractors or specialist tradespeople as required.

Requirements

Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role.
Practical knowledge of carpentry plumbing tiling plastering bricklaying fencing flooring and basic groundworks.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physically fit and able to handle the demands of manual work.
