What Youll Do
Design and execute manual test plans test cases and scenarios for web mobile and back-end systems.
Perform regression smoke and exploratory testing to uncover functional gaps and edge cases.
Validate API and back-end functionality using Postman or Bruno.
Ensure cross-browser cross-device and cross-platform compatibility for consistent user experiences.
Write and execute SQL queries for data integrity verification.
Document bugs with clear steps logs and evidence and follow through on resolution with developers.
Collaborate with product managers developers and UX teams to validate requirements and acceptance criteria.
Provide structured feedback on usability performance and overall product quality.
Requisitos
Bachelors degree in computer science IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
5 years of manual QA testing experience with web and back-end systems.
Strong understanding of SDLC STLC defect lifecycle and test design techniques.
Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g. QMetry Zephyr TestRail JIRA).
Skilled in exploratory testing usability testing and risk-based testing approaches.
Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to clearly explain issues.
Proactive detail-oriented and able to prioritize testing efforts based on release timelines.
Exposure to Prompt Engineering
Applied LLMs in their regular QA workflows and utilize tools like ChatGPT Claude Cursor etc.
Required Skills:
