Position Overview:

As a Diesel Mechanic youll take charge of maintaining and repairing our fleet of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. From routine inspections to intricate engine diagnostics and repairs youll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our vehicles.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair diesel engines transmissions brakes electrical systems and other components of commercial vehicles and equipment.

Perform routine maintenance tasks like oil changes filter replacements and fluid checks.

Conduct thorough inspections to identify any issues or potential problems.

Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.

Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Accurately document all maintenance and repair work.

Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding the status of repairs and maintenance tasks.

Follow company policies and procedures diligently.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic preferably in the transportation or construction industry.

Solid knowledge of diesel engines and related systems.

Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment.

Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills.

Valid drivers license and clean driving record.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive wages based on experience: $20 - $36/hr.

Comprehensive benefits package including Health Life insurance 401k matching Profit Sharing PTO and Paid Holidays.

Shift:

Days shift options are as follow 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM (Monday - Friday). OT available
