Company with a reputation that goes back over 50 years looking to add a Water Resources Engineer to their Milwaukee Wisconsin office!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare Stormwater Management Plans for public/private development projects
- Perform municipal stormwater management plan review
- Prepare hydrologic and hydraulic models of storm water systems or floodplain areas
- Assist in identifying flood extents and potential flood reduction measures
- Assist in Environmental Impact Analysis Reports
- Coordinate with other disciplines clients and consultants
- Mentor/train junior staff
- Assist with business development pursuits
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Environmental or Water resource engineering
- 5 years of experience in designing/managing a wide variety of site development or linear infrastructure projects involving hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and BMP design
- PE License in Wisconsin or ability to obtain in 12 months
- Business development experience including proposal writing project interview and client interactions
- Working knowledge of state and local stormwater erosion control and floodplain regulations
- Permitting experience in the State of Wisconsin
- Proficient with hydrology and hydraulic software such as HydroCAD ICM HEC-RAS and Hydraflow
- Experience with implementing green infrastructure into stormwater management erosion control best management practice inspections and performing municipal reviews
- Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) accreditation
- Experience supporting grant funded infrastructure projects
- Experience with Phase 1 ESA
- Experience in the preparation of Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) and Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) through Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
Salary is commensurate with experience.
