### *Job Overview:*
Vithaldas Jewellers a prestigious jewellery brand with over 100 years of legacy is seeking an experienced *Production Manager* to oversee the jewellery manufacturing process. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production maintaining quality standards managing artisans and craftsmen and optimizing workflow to meet customer demand.
### *Key Responsibilities:*
* *Oversee and manage* the entire jewellery production process from design to final product.
* *Coordinate with designers craftsmen and suppliers* to ensure timely production and delivery.
* *Monitor quality control* to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and material usage.
* *Ensure accurate calculations* of gold weight precious stones and other material costs.
* *Optimize production schedules* to meet customer orders and deadlines efficiently.
* *Supervise and train production staff* including karigars (artisans) and technicians.
* *Manage inventory and procurement* of raw materials such as gold diamonds gemstones and tools.
* *Ensure compliance* with safety and industry regulations.
* *Work closely with the sales team* to understand customer preferences and trends.
* *Implement cost-effective strategies* to improve efficiency without compromising quality.
### *Requirements:*
* *Qualification:* Bachelors degree/diploma in Jewellery Design Production or related field (preferred).
* *Experience:* Minimum 5 years in jewellery manufacturing or a related field.
* *Languages:* Must know *Hindi and Telugu* (English is a plus).
* *Skills & Qualities:*
* Strong knowledge of jewellery production techniques including casting stone setting and finishing.
* Understanding of gold purity diamond grading and gemstone quality.
* Ability to manage a team of craftsmen and production staff.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
