Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00pm with every 4th weekend 8:00-3:00pm
Nursing home shifts start at 6:00am
Duties include:
Prepping & performing phlebotomy on children up to elderly patients
Preparing samples for pickup
Maintain appropriate supplies inventory
Charting blood draws
Act as back-up coverage for East Dickinson Clinic
Laboratory Assistant no previous experience needed (16.00-23.50)
Senior Laboratory Assistant requires active phlebotomy certification ($17.00-25.50)
Pathology Technician requires bachelors degree in biology or related subject ($23.50-36.00)
Summary
Responsibilities include phlebotomy collecting preparing and processing specimens biological specimens.Job Description
Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.Qualifications
High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred.Completion of a formal phlebotomy program phlebotomy experience and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
