Soccer Shots is seeking a passionate part-time Youth Soccer Coach to serve children ages 2-8.

LOCATION

Alameda Oakland San Lorenzo San Leandro Castro Valley and Hayward

We are looking for a part-time coach to work in Alameda Oakland San Lorenzo San Leandro Castro Valley and Hayward 15 hours a week.

Local candidates only please (no work status or visa sponsorship available)

PART-TIME SCHEDULE or FULL-TIME SCHEDULE

Hours between M-F 8:30am-5:30pm (and Sat/Sun 9am-1pm)

Must be available to work one day out of the weekend.

Competitive Base Pay
- The training rate is $22/hour
- After completing training pay is $25/hour (including admin and setup/breakdown time).

Schedule:

Flexibility We only schedule sessions closest to you with opportunities to change availability from season to season (winter/spring/summer/fall)
Mondays through Fridays: mornings afternoons and evenings are optional
Saturdays: mornings are required
A full ten-week commitment is required to take on a lead role.

The Job:

Bring Soccer Island alive with your enthusiasm and creativity
Conduct soccer sessions for children 2 to 8 years old including field set-up and take-down
Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling
Utilize expert-created Soccer Shots curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques in every session
Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
Communicate effectively with families caregivers and teachers
