Job Summary
A thriving and forward-thinking secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a creative and dedicated Art Teacher to join its successful Art department as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to teach engaged pupils in a dynamic school environment where creativity and high standards go hand in hand.
Art is a popular and well-supported subject within the school with strong outcomes at KS3 and KS4 and opportunities at KS5 depending on experience.
The Role
Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging well-structured lessons
Supporting pupils with coursework sketchbook development and exam preparation
Encouraging creativity across a wide range of media and techniques
Contributing to displays exhibitions and enrichment activities
Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced Art department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Art Fine Art or a related subject
Experience teaching Art at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and progress
A professional organised and positive teaching approach
