Job Summary
A well-established secondary school in Slough is seeking a skilled and proactive DT Technician to join their team as soon as possible. This is a full-time permanent position supporting the Design & Technology department.
About the Role
As a DT Technician you will provide practical and administrative support to the department helping teachers deliver high-quality lessons and ensuring students have a safe and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing materials and resources for lessons
Maintaining and organising workshop tools and equipment
Supporting teachers during practical sessions
Ensuring health and safety compliance in the workshops
Assisting with stock management and department administration
Experience and Qualifications
Previous DT Technician or workshop experience desirable
Strong practical skills and knowledge of tools and materials
Understanding of health and safety procedures
Organised proactive and reliable
Legal right to work in the UK
