We are now looking for our next Strategy Manager.
As Strategy Manager at Sambla Group you will be part of the Corporate Development team reporting directly to the Chief Corporate Development Officer. The team is responsible for driving high-impact cross-functional initiatives across Sambla Group and owns the corporate strategy M&A Data Science and AI agendas. This is a hands-on fast-paced role ideal for someone who thrives in strategic planning analysis and project management and who is eager to gain exposure to executive-level project work. Youll work closely with senior leadership and executives as well as stakeholders across the business to support the successful execution of strategic projects from initiation to completion.

Amongst other things you will:

  • Support in operationalizing strategic governance frameworks and in ensuring successful roll-out of the corporate strategy throughout the organization through leading PMO initiatives

  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of strategic opportunities and lead the development of cross functional implementation plans for selected value creation projects

  • Evaluate market expansion opportunities and potential additions to the existing product portfolio

  • Lead market research to understand underlying market performance and provide macro reports to management

  • Together with CCDO own the M&A agenda from sourcing potential targets to valuation modeling leading process management of confirmatory due diligence processes and post merger integration

  • Project lead internal initiatives across multiple functions including determining accurate operational and financial KPIs as well as continuously monitor progress to ensure successful outcomes

  • Prepare analyses presentations and reports to aid senior stakeholder discussions e.g. executive management and board of directors meetings

  • Lead and coach junior team members on the Corporate Development team supporting in their professional development


Must have:

  • Strong interest and experience in corporate strategy M&A project management organizational development and change management

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities

  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and uncertainty in a fast-moving environment

  • Analytical mindset and ability to grasp and structure complex issues quickly

  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint Excel)

  • Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish (written and spoken)

A bit of extra credit if you also have:

  • Previous experience of complex Program Management

  • Fintech Investment Banking or Private Equity experience

  • Advanced financial modelling skills

  • SQL and database management and analysis skills

  • Good AI proficiency
