Why This Role Matters:
This is a fully on-site Controller role with the opportunity to own end-to-end financial operations at a critical growth stage. You will play a key role in FP&A audit cost control and ERP implementationdirectly influencing operational efficiency strategic decision-making and the companys long-term success.
What Youll Do:
- Lead the mine sites accounting and financial reporting functions ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Own FP&A: budgeting forecasting and variance analysis across P&L balance sheet cash flow and headcount/expenses.
- Manage cost accounting inventory cycle counts and capital project spend tracking.
- Oversee month-end quarter-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare financial statements compliance reports and ad hoc analyses for corporate and site leadership.
- Support internal and external audits implementing recommendations to strengthen controls.
- Lead ERP selection and implementation streamlining financial operations across the site.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives collaborating closely with operations procurement and corporate finance.
- Translate financial data into actionable insights that help site leadership make informed business decisions.
What Were Looking For (Must-Haves):
- 5 years as a financial leader (public company experience preferred).
- Advanced Excel and QuickBooks expertise.
- Experience in FP&A construction project accounting and agile/lean practices.
- Hands-on experience with ERP selection and implementation in mining industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and U.S. GAAP internal controls SOX tax and transfer pricing.
Nice-to-Have:
- CPA designation.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $101000$120000 (up to 10% flexibility for exceptional candidates)
- Annual bonus: 512% based on performance
