Job Summary

The Mission We are recruiting a dedicated medical professional for 1:1 nursing care of an 80-year-old VIP aboard a prestigious superyacht. This role offers a dramatic change of scenery taking you from the Nordics to the heart of the Mediterranean summer. You will manage the principals health while cruising through exclusive waters including the French Riviera Sardinia Mykonos and the Balearic Islands.

The Team You will be an integral part of a Western-trained medical department. The unit is directed by a Lead British Doctor and supported by resident Physiotherapists. This multidisciplinary team ensures that clinical decisions are shared and expert-led providing a robust support network at sea.

The Safety To prioritize patient safety and prevent burnout the nursing roster is built on a strict double-nurse shift system. This ensures you are never working in isolation or while fatigued and provides structured downtime to enjoy the warm climate and port visits.

The Process We value efficiency and discretion. The initial interview and vetting phase is conducted entirely via a secure online platform allowing you to complete the recruitment process from Norway before traveling to the vessel.

Requirements

Education: Western Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Sykepleier Degree.
Experience: A strict minimum of 4 years in Acute Care (ICU/Intensivsykepleie ER/Akuttmottak).
Language: Native or C1 (Advanced) English is required for all medical documentation and team communication.
Profile: A calm resilient professional capable of blending into a high-net-worth family environment with absolute discretion.
