Job Summary
- Provide the content team with information regarding drug interactions side effects dosage and proper medication storage while
- Adding any new SKUs to the catalog.
- Dispense medications as prescribed by doctors and dentists directly to customers.
- Validate prescription orders (VP-1) properly label and fill medication orders (VP-2).
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and manufacturer guidelines for pharmacovigilance activities.
- Maintain records such as pharmacy files purchase orders inventories and registries for narcotics and controlled substances.
- Verify the authenticity of prescriptions.
- Seek clarification regarding prescription discrepancies when necessary.
- In the case of drug-related claims by patients fill out the pharmacovigilance report as needed.
- Monitor the patients total drug therapy for effectiveness side effects toxicities allergic drug reactions drug interactions and appropriate patient outcomes.
- Prepare medications for intravenous administration (IV).
- Handle narcotics psychotropic drugs and controlled substances.
- Ensure proper stock storage in accordance with company protocols.
- Review daily closing inventory ensure proper training for pickers and monitor their performance.
- Manually check for expired stock on a monthly basis.
- Conduct perpetual stock audits monthly and make entries in the register for items that need to be reordered due to low stock levels.
- Maintain records such as pharmacy files inventories and registries of narcotics or controlled drugs.
- Address any issues related to pharmacy software.
- Update records of stock received from suppliers.
- Manage medications nearing their expiration dates.
- Communicate with the demand planning team and the category team about onboarding new suppliers and updating availability
Qualifications :
- Bachelor/ Master in pharmacy
