Trainee Project Engineer

Project Management & Delivery

• Lead projects through the full lifecycle from scoping to handover ensuring milestones are met and installations comply with Sikas global and local standards.
• Develop project schedules and manage CAPEX budgets effectively.

Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with internal teams site managers and external contractors throughout project implementation.
• Prepare business cases technical specifications and post-implementation reviews for senior management.

On-Site Support & Safety

• Supervise on-site installations ensuring work is performed safely and to high standards.
• Conduct safety risk assessments for new equipment and processes adhering to Sikas WHS protocols.

Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement

• Identify and resolve engineering challenges during project implementation.
• Contribute to process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or Civil Engineering
• Understanding of Australian Standards (AS/NZS) relevant to machinery and manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (P&IDs Layouts)
• Proficiency in Project Management software and CAD applications
• Valid licence and willingness to travel to various national sites
