Short Description
JOB DESCRIPTION - ADVANCED PRACTICED PROVIDER (APP) - Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant Cardiothoracic Surgery
The Advanced Practice Provider - APP (Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant) responsibilities would include endoscopic vein harvest and first assisting in the OR.
This position includes an on-call requirement for the OR on nights weekends and holidays.
Experience Required
Minimum of one year experience as a first assistant and endoscopic vein harvest; with endoscopic radial harvest preferred.
Education Requirements
Masters in Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
License/Certification Requirements
New Jersey license for Advanced Nurse Practitioner & Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant
*For Nurse practitioners must be acute care certified; PA NCCPA
