Responsibilities
This is an 18-month certificate program that kicks off a career in radiography services. The program combines dedicated classroom education and hands-on clinical instruction. Clinical training includes a simulation lab with state-of-the-art X-Ray equipment. The program is designed for applicants without credentials in a radiography modality. Program tuition includes didactic training and certificate costs for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Classes are Monday Friday 8 am 4:30 pm.
Qualifications
- Associates degree from an accredited institution
- Passed and completed Anatomy and Physiology 1 & 2 (A&P 1&2)
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
PREFERRED
- Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients visitors physicians and other personnel.
