Position:Science Instructor (Full-Time) for the 2026-2027 School Year
Certification/Qualifications:The successful candidate shall demonstrate strong organizational communication human relations classroom management team public relations/community and instructional skills. Applicants should have a sincere interest in and a commitment to work with students parents staff businesses community organizations and associate district schools The instructor will teach various levels of science classes including but not limited to Astronomy Biology Chemistry Advanced Biology/Biology II Forensics Physics Integrated Science and/or Advanced Chemistry at the 11th and/or 12th grade level.
Applicants should have a Provisional License Professional License Permanent Certificate Provisional Certification or a Professional Certificate in Comprehensive or Integrated Science to teach the science courses listed above.
Duties: The Science Instructor will work closely with the other science teachers to develop maintain and promote the schools science program. The science instructor will plan direct and evaluate science instruction to meet the needs of junior and senior students in career-technical programs. The instructor will also plan direct and evaluate the science curricula to meet the state of Ohios academic content standards. The instructor is required to have each science course student plan and develop a science fair project for the schools yearly Science Fair.
Contract:2026-2027 full-time contract - 183 contracted days. Contract to begin Thursday August 13 2026.
Salary: Appropriate placement on 2026-2027 teachers salary schedule based on certification education/degree and experience.
