About This Role:


As the Head of Executive Protection and Travel Security you will lead strategic initiatives that ensure the safety of our senior executives VPs and employees during travel. This role is integral to our Global Security team where you will oversee the design and implementation of advanced security protocols and risk mitigation strategies. Your leadership will be pivotal in developing a comprehensive travel security management program collaborating with senior leadership to assess and address security threats. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Security you will play a critical role in aligning security measures with corporate objectives ensuring compliance with local laws and enhancing overall business operations through effective protection strategies.

What Youll Do:

  • Lead and manage the team responsible for the physical protection of senior executives and high-risk personnel.

  • Design and implement personalized executive protection programs tailored to individual needs.

  • Ensure 24/7 global protection capability for executives including risk assessments and secure transportation.

  • Collaborate with the corporate legal team to ensure compliance with regulations.

  • Develop and conduct training programs for executive protection personnel and senior executives.

  • Develop and execute a global travel security program with risk assessments and threat monitoring.

  • Establish a crisis management framework for travel-related incidents.

  • Maintain a comprehensive database of safe and secure destinations.

  • Identify and assess security risks and vulnerabilities proactively.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate executive protection strategies into corporate policies.

  • Oversee incident management and response leading investigations and resolutions.

  • Lead mentor and develop the executive protection and travel security team.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice Security Management International Relations or related field.

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in security management with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Experience managing high-profile or high-risk personnel protection programs.

  • Extensive knowledge of global security threats and emerging trends.

  • Experience in managing security for a global organization.

  • Exceptional crisis management and decision-making capabilities.

  • Ability to communicate security protocols to diverse stakeholders effectively.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications in executive protection travel security or crisis management (e.g. CPP Executive Protection Specialist).

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $180000.00-$248000.00


Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including but not limited to relevant skills & experience job location and internal equity.
