Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY:

Receives goods from manufacturers venders and freight trucks and to deliver the goods to the proper locations.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receives all goods from all shipping carriers as well as from freight trucks. Place all goods that do not arrive freight on pallets for assigned locations. Logs all goods in our SCLogic system to then deliver to the assigned locations throughout the UO property.
Maintains all equipment and work area in a neat clean and orderly manner. Follow established safety practices.
Determines the most cost-effective way to process outgoing mail and outgoing business and personal FedEx packages in our Mail Room Store.
Makes sure all outgoing freight are properly labeled and ready for pick up by freight carriers.
Understand and actively participate in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED required.

CERTIFICATIONS LICENSES REGISTRATIONS:

Forklift Certification required. Florida Drivers License required.

EXPERIENCE:

1 Year mail services/warehouse related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
