This is a part time county funded position.This is a county-funded position and is contingent upon the continued funding from the county. The Ag & Natural Resources Program Assistant II is responsible to the County Extension Director and works under the direction of the lead ANR Development Agent to implement approved educational programs in group settings to audiences in the area ANR. This position will assist with conducting educational programs and maintaining program records. This position will plan execute and evaluate ANR educational programs under the direction of the ANR Agent and the County Director.
Collaborate effectively with community and state-level partners to implement specific program components of ANR Program.
Assist in the delivery and maintenance of the ANR Programs in the county.
Maintain and grow positive partnerships with local organizations vendors agencies and general public in support of the ANR Program
Assist with community needs assessments and evaluation requirements as needed.
Provide leadership for a program of activities that meets the needs of all eligible clientele regardless of race color national origin sex age disability religion or veteran status.
Assume other duties as assigned.
Be responsible for up to 20 hours per week.
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma GED or equivalent
Two to three years of related experience desired
Required Knowledge Skillsand Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel Publisher and Work Perfect
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree
Teaching experience
Preferred Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Teaching skills to adult and youth
