We are currently looking for a Process Technician to join us at one of our facilities in Västervik (Sweden).
The Västervik facility (100 employees) is the main plant of Axalta Powder Coating Nordic AB which manufactures and sells powder coatings to the industry.
Key responsibilities:
In the role of Process Technician you will be an important part of our Technology team. You will work closely with production and quality control driving improvements to ensure stable and efficient processes. Your tasks will include:
- Daily support to quality control and production
- Adjustment and optimization of formulas
- Responsibility for product transfers from sister sites to the Västervik site
- Reporting quality results for internal and external distribution
- Improvement work based on deviations and issues within production and quality control
- Being part of the team that tests new raw materials
Key requirements:
We are looking for someone who is committed responsible and enjoys working collaboratively. You have:
- At least a two-year education in production technology or a similar field or equivalent relevant work experience
- Good computer skills: experience with SAP and Office is an advantage
- Strong ability to communicate in English both spoken and written
- Swedish fluency in speaking reading and writing
- Interest in data and analysis
- Ability to take ownership and drive initiatives
- Experience in project management would be a plus
