Impacts the quality of own work and contributes to overall team effectiveness. Executes standard project management activities following established processes. Exercises judgment to prioritize and adapt tasks based on evolving customer and operational needs.

Job Description

GE HealthCare develops and sells digital solutions and clinical services to grow its Imaging Digital Solutions (IDS) portfolio and expand its market share within enterprise accounts.
The IDS offering supports our clients on their journey to deliver more value from their imaging platforms. It combines advanced software analytics Lean transformation methodologies and clinical services to deliver improved clinical and operational outcomes as well as a better patient experience.
Our suite of offerings increases modality capacity manages radiation and contrast dose and drives protocol optimization thereby improving patient satisfaction.
GE HealthCare is currently looking for a Project Manager for DACH France Belux Iberia and French- Speaking Africa ideally based in Portugal although other locations will also be considered. The candidate will also collaborate with the LATAM team when needed therefore speaking Portuguese or Spanish will be highly appreciated.
You will own the project management and implementation process for IDS solutions in the region with a special focus on the MIM solution. This includes order reviews; project planning; technical design and layout; documentation submission; resource coordination; installation execution; and resolution of potential issues.

Roles and Responsibilities

You are responsible for driving customer satisfaction and process productivity during the presales and implementation phases including:

  • Acting as the primary liaison between GE HealthCare and the customer team.

  • Managing all aspects of multiple projects from initiation through closure driving communication integrations and IT-related activities.

  • Clarifying and validating project scope (e.g. modalities to be connected hardware connectivity and options sold) and collaborating with internal teams such as HPM Support and Engineering to deliver projects on time.

  • Coordinating and executing each project phase including kickoff meetings modality and workflow loading data validation and thirdparty integrations.

  • Ensuring timely customer acceptance of projects and compliance with revenue recognition requirements.

  • Ensuring a smooth handover from operations to the service team.

  • Coordinating with Installation Specialists and Install & Upgrade teams to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Clearly communicating project status issues risks and plans to senior management.

  • When required performing remote site upgrades to provide customers with the latest software versions in line with contractual commitments.

  • Supporting sales activities during tenders and ensuring an effective handover between sales and operations.

Quality Specific Goals:

  • Be aware of and comply with the GE HealthCare Quality Manual Quality Management System Quality Management Policy Quality Goals and all applicable laws and regulations related to this position.

  • Complete all planned compliance training (Quality EHS etc.) within defined deadlines.

  • Identify and immediately report any customer or personal compliance concerns to the appropriate organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree and at least 1 year of project management experience.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines and customer expectations.

  • Demonstrated project management skills including project initiation scoping resourcing scheduling budgeting risk management and communication.

  • Demonstrated customer service experience in a clinical environment.

  • Ability to work with and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to influence team members to achieve shared goals.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications including effective use of Copilot and other AI tools.

  • Fluency in English and at least one additional regional language (Portuguese Spanish French or German). Proficiency in more than two languages is highly valued.

Desired Characteristics

  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics in a customerfriendly manner.

  • Experience managing largescale projects meeting or exceeding deadlines; IT or installation experience is preferred.

  • Ability to work effectively in fastpaced and challenging environments.

  • Operating Systems: Windows Server Linux

  • Networking & Integration: DICOM IHE HL7 FHIR

  • Tools: Advanced user of Power BI and other BI tools; proficiency in MS Project and other project management tools.

  • Strong computer skills.

  • Web technologies knowledge.

  • Experience in healthcare environments particularly radiology or nuclear medicine departments.

  • Project management and healthcare certifications (PMP ITIL HL7 FHIR) are valued.

  • Six Sigma certification and/or experience with Lean methodologies.

  • Willingness to travel up to 1015%.
