Job Summary
Cedar Park Med is hiring experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for Critical Care assignments across various Adult ED/ Intensive Care Units (ICUs) HOLDING unit. This role requires strong critical care skills trauma experience and the ability to provide high-quality patient care with minimal orientation in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Schedule / Shift
Day and Night shifts available 12-hour shift 6 shifts per two-week pay period
Every other weekend and some holidays required
13 week assignment with possible extension
Hiring for both local and traveler positions. Only candidates outside a 50-mile radius qualify for traveler roles. Travelers will only be considered if they have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers. Rates vary based on experience and whether the position is local or traveler.
Required Qualifications
Current New York State RN license/registration
BLS certification (must be able to be re-certified)
Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and acuity
Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience
Prior experience using EPIC Electronic Medical Records
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in Adult ED
Responsibilities
Perform the majority of patient care skills required in a critical care setting with minimal orientation and supervision
Conduct thorough nursing assessments appropriate to the level of acuity in the specialty unit
Deliver safe effective nursing care to critically ill adult patients
Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient care
