Job Summary

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for supporting production operations within the Manufacturing Department with a focus on electrical and electronic systems used in specialized industrial equipment. This role involves assembly wiring testing and documentation to ensure high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform manufacturing and assembly tasks including cables ignition bulbs screens and various component assemblies

Execute basic machine wiring techniques such as cutting terminating soldering and crimping wire

Assemble electronic components and devices according to product specifications and blueprints

Utilize hand tools power tools and assembly equipment to complete builds

Assemble and wire lamp housings and related components

Prepare and kit electronic parts and assemblies

Conduct low-level testing and complete associated production documentation

Follow established work instructions and safety procedures

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Develop knowledge and skills to support advancement within the electromechanical assembly function

Qualifications

Education & Experience

High School Diploma required

Minimum of 2 years of relevant manufacturing or production experience

Technical training or an associate degree in Electronics preferred

Experience working with electrical or electronic systems strongly preferred

Skills & Abilities

Basic knowledge of hand tools power tools and electronic test equipment

Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail

Intermediate math skills including use of fractions decimals and the metric system

Ability to interpret basic blueprints and follow written instructions

Good visual acuity including color differentiation

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work at elevated heights when required

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

$18 - $23 an hour
