ABOUT THE ROLE
Darling Downs Radiology is seeking a Clerical in Charge (CIC) to lead the Radiology Administration Team.

As the CIC you will work closely with the Radiographer in Charge (RIC) to ensure that the reception team provides a superior service that delivers excellence in diagnostic imaging to our valued patients and referring doctors through training support and guidance of the reception team as well as be responsible for the diary management patient data entry and practice revenue cycle.

This is a Full Time Permanent position working Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the Clerical Manager; Your role will include:

  • Managing of the site Clerical Team as well as any Clerical Rovers
  • Provide support and mentoring to the site reception teams.
  • Provide continuous training and development to site reception teams
  • Excellence in customer service delivery in order to exceed patient and referrer expectations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to show patients care compassion and empathy
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure patient confidentiality
  • Diary Management
  • Ensure practice and clerical appearance standards are maintained
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to assist in building partnerships and fostering collaborative relationships across the business.
  • Detailed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on completing high quality work
  • An ability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with ability to meet targets
  • A can do attitude that builds rapport with patients staff and professionals easily
  • Be committed to your own professional development and embrace ongoing learning opportunities.
  • Other duties as directed by the Administration Services Manager Clerical Manager and RIC

ABOUT YOU

  • Demonstrated Radiology administration experience essential
  • Demonstrated Leadership experience essential
  • Leadership abilities to support the team and practices
  • Experience using RIS platforms - ideally Karisma.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of all radiology billing policies and procedures (including Medicare DVA Work Cover and Inpatient billing)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to assist in building partnerships and fostering collaborative relationships across the business.
  • Detailed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on completing high quality work
  • An ability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with ability to meet targets
  • A can do attitude that builds rapport with patients staff and professionals easily
