Under the direction of the primary care operations team the Primary Care Patient Certified MA works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe timely effective efficient equitable patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Patient Care Certified MA will partner with patients providers and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients. Duties and responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission values and Mercy Service Standards.Position Details:

Schedule:Full-time 40 hours/week
Hours: Monday Friday Day Shift
Qualifications:
*MA Certification Not Required
Primary Care Assistant - Medical Assistant:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience preferably in a primary care office.
Primary Care - Certified Medical Assistant:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA CCMA CMA). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
