Horizon Surgery Center South located on the Baptist Medical Center South campus is an ambulatory surgery center in Jacksonville Florida focused on delivering high-quality patient-centered outpatient care. This center provides Orthopedics ENT Plastics and Urology surgeries (2OR) and procedures (2PR). Role Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) supports pre-op PACU and stepdown patient care. This position is responsible for assessing patients delivering individualized nursing care monitoring recovery and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe efficient procedures and optimal outcomes.

Hours:
MondayFriday schedule (6/6:30am start time)
No nights weekends holidays or call

What Youll Do:

Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care in perioperative settings
Monitor patient status and respond to changes during recovery

Document accurately and communicate effectively with team members and patients

Maintain sterile environments and adhere to safety protocols

Support patient education and post-op instructions

What Youll Bring:
Associates degree or equivalent; one year of Pre-op/PACU experience
Current RN license
BLS ACLS and PALS certifications required
Strong teamwork organization and communication skills
Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs routinely and up to 100 lbs occasionally
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Windows environment)
