Co-Op Term
June 2026 December 2026
Key Responsibilities
Depending on assignment Co-Ops may:
- Support Cell & Gene Therapy process development operations or analytical development activities.
- Conduct laboratory experiments (cell culture molecular biology purification analytical assays etc.) or support business/operational processes.
- Perform data analysis using scientific or business platforms (Excel Tableau statistical tools etc.).
- Assist in maintaining bioreactors conducting upstream/downstream processing or supporting analytics testing (ELISA PCR flow cytometry etc.).
- Create reports SOPs documentation or KPI scorecards to support team decision-making.
- Participate in technical discussions team meetings and collaborative sessions.
- Maintain laboratory notebooks and follow compliance guidelines.
- Provide general project support across scientific operational or analytical functions.
Qualifications
Education:
- Preferred majors: Biology Biochemistry Molecular Biology Chemical Engineering Biological Engineering Biomedical Engineering Immunology Analytical Chemistry Business Supply Chain Finance Data Analytics or related fields.
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree for the duration of the Co-Op.
- Minimum GPA of 2.8 required.
- Completion of at least freshman year required.
Experience & Skills:
Required:
- Prior experience in laboratory techniques OR business/analytical tools depending on role.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
- Strong communication presentation and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
Preferred:
- Previous Co-Op/Internship or research experience.
- Experience with cell culture ELISA PCR chromatography or business analytics tools.
- Leadership experience through campus or community involvement.
Permanently authorized to work in the U.S. must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g. H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT OPT or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
