Job Description

Schibsted Live Sport is at the heart of how millions of people experience sport every single week on VG & Aftonbladet. From live scores and breaking news to video clips stats and streams our products sit at the intersection of journalism technology and some of the most emotional moments in peoples lives.

Now were looking for an experienced Product Manager to take ownership of one of Schibsteds most exciting consumer products: VG Live (Norway) & Sportbladet Live (Sweden) and help lead our next phase of Nordic growth.

Why this role matters: VG Live is already the most well-known live sports product in Norway and a daily destination for casual mobile-first sports addition our live sport team owns and develops Sportbladet Live VG Lives sister service in Sweden.

Every month the combined impact of these services is:

  • Over 3 million users
  • Around 200 million page views

Over the last few years:

  • Weve 4ed revenue for VG Live
  • More than doubled our organic user base in Sweden on Sportbladet Live
  • Built a Nordic live sports platform with real scale and momentum covering the full spectrum of sports interest in our countries.

Were now building toward something much bigger:

  • A clear Nordic growth journey with strong positions in Norway and Sweden and rapid progress in Finland
  • New strategic opportunities unlocked by Schibsteds recent acquisitions of TV4 (Sweden) and MTV (Finland) two of the strongest sports streaming brands in the Nordics
  • A product portfolio that increasingly connects live coverage clips and premium streaming into seamless fan experiences

And perhaps most importantly:

Youll be joining ahead of the 2026 World Cup likely the biggest sports event of this century for Norway. VG Live will be at the absolute centre of how the nation follows it.

What youll own: As Product Manager for Schibsted Live Sport youll have end-to-end responsibility for the product direction of our live sport sites the CMS driving it and our live sport commercial direction.

That includes:

  • Owning the product strategy and roadmap for a product used by millions every month
  • Driving growth in daily usage logged-in users and revenue
    Shaping how live sports content clips and streaming integrations work together across markets
  • Working closely with the editorial sports teams design engineering data sales and partnerships
  • Collaborating across borders with teams in Norway Sweden and Finland
  • Turning major sports events into product moments not just content moments

This is a highly visible role with strong executive attention real commercial impact and meaningful editorial relevance.
