Overview
Provides direct patient care to all patient populations; excluding pediatrics. Addresses the psychosocial physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with the physician continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory. Assesses procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness. Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the EP Specials and Cardiac Cath Lab team are met. Monitors positions and assists patient during procedure. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

Qualifications
Education: Registered Nurse BSN preferred but not required.
Licensure: Registered Nurse or compact state licensure in the applicable state of practice.
Experience:
Certifications: ACLS CPR
Physical Requirements:
Position requires the ability to push pull and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
Position requires the ability to grip reach bend kneel twist and squat to perform duties.
Preferred Education:
Preferred Licensure:
Preferred Experience: Minimum of 3 years fast paced cardiac specials and electrophysiology experience.
