Are you passionate about driving meaningful change data and risk management ING is looking for an ambitious and results-driven Product Lead ATC to join the End-to-end Implementation CoE within COO Risk. This role is your chance to take ownership of a strategic transformation roadmap and lead initiatives that shape the future of risk management at the heart of the bank.
The opportunity
The opportunity in COO Risk sits right at the heart of the Banks operations. We translate our rather complex banking business exposures into impact on risk weighted assets and provisions in line with the constantly changing business desires and the latest regulatory requirements. We also provide important insights in NFR and Compliance topics and cater for corresponding regulatory reporting needs.
COO Risk delivers baseline and change activities for the Risk Organization with the purpose to drive our partners to maximize value in a safe & compliant environment. We play a critical role at ING and service all business lines CROs and COOs of the Bank. COO Risk is committed to take explicit ownership of the end-to-end execution of regulatory transformation initiatives.
To deliver on these ambitious promises we are looking for a Product lead who has an end-to-end strategic focus around our services and leads our squads in terms of clear prioritization accountability and capabilities. The Product Lead is a position where all elements of a product come together the what and the how with an end-to-end transformation responsibility.
Roles and responsibilities
The Product Lead Air Traffic Control is responsible for the orchestration of key internal processes such as cross-domain Portfolio Management and set up of project governance and pipeline management Dynamic Planning and other finance related activities employee development and engagement journeys HR support as well as iRisk and iModel issue resolution tracking and projects launched in respective fields such as AI for Risk.
Project and Program management: You are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the Portfolio Management process the Finance and HR strategy and structure program initiation such as AI for particular:
1. Define and further develop & automate the portfolio management capability
2. Take accountability of the finances for COO Risk and look for optimization opportunities
3. Drive and further develop the people strategy for COO Risk
4. Develop the capability to set up programs from scratch incl. governance monitoring and delivery e.g. AI for Risk
Stakeholder Management: You must have a strong understanding of Finance and transformation particular:
1. Alignment across Tribes & Tech within COO Risk
2. Building and maintaining relationships across domains
3. Ensuring clarity in governance and decision-making
4. Facilitating cross-functional collaboration
Drives Results: You are responsible for execution oversight and milestone particular:
1. Track and manage delivery progress
2. Resolve issues proactively
3. Ensure quality and timeliness of execution

You drive continuous improvement in assigned particular:
1. Design and implement governance structures
2. Improve templates and procedures
3. Stimulate compliant ways of working and cross-functional collaboration

You are responsible for attracting and developing a high-performing particular:
1. Coach and mentor (junior) staff and maintain a pipeline of young talents
2. Foster a safe and inclusive culture
3. Stimulate OHI participation and act on outcomes
Operational Compliance:
You ensure governance and artefacts adhere to internal policies and regulatory standards.

Required skills and experiences
University/Postgraduate (Masters Degree)
Exposure to Risk related topics and projects with strong understanding of the CRO domain (3 years to 6 years).
A Proven track record in transformation programs. (Over 3 years to 6 years).
Experience in process management backlog management and resource planning
Solid knowledge of Finance processes e.g. Dynamic Plan charging and monitoring
Good understanding of AI capabilities currently available at ING.
Have a can do mentality proactive resourceful and willing to go the extra mile
An excellent level of English
