The Manager - RN Quality Improvement provides leadership and directs work efforts associated with quality program activities such as quality assurance patient safety public reporting regulatory and accreditation readiness patient relations infection control education and performance improvement This position has primary responsibility and oversight for these activities to ensure continued pursuit of the highest quality of care.

Position Details:

ONSITE - Mercy Hospital AURORA MO

FULL TIME

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors Degree (healthcare related field); Graduate of an approved school of nursing
  • Experience:5 years experience in clinical healthcare; 1 year in clinical quality improvement patient safety or risk management
  • Licensure:Current RN License in the state of practice

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education:Masters Degree in health-related field
  • Certification/Registration:Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS)
  • Experience:1 year managerial experience preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Other Skills and Knowledge: Ability to lead and work collaboratively with a variety of groups. Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence to effectively interact with all levels of Caregivers from senior leaders to front-line coworkers. Ability to present complex information concisely and clearly for all levels of the organization. Proficient in data analysis and decision support including demonstrated capabilities with analytical and presentation software. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
