Java Developer (Oracle Development)
Location: Onsite Islamabad (Bahria Town Phase 7 )
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong Oracle development experience to join our team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining enterprise-level applications using Java technologies and Oracle databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop test and deploy Java-based applications.
- Develop and optimize database solutions using Oracle Database.
- Write efficient SQL queries stored procedures functions packages and triggers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Troubleshoot debug and enhance existing applications.
- Ensure performance security and scalability of applications.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Provide technical documentation and support.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field.
- 36 years of experience in Java development.
- Strong experience with Java (Core Java J2EE Spring/Spring Boot Hibernate).
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database (PL/SQL development).
- Proficiency in SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git SVN).
- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (Angular/React) is a plus.
- Experience in banking telecom or enterprise-level applications.
- Oracle certification (OCA/OCP) is an advantage.
