Job Summary
- Working with multiple levels of Elgin Sweeper to investigate and analyze quality problems recommend solutions and implement corrective actions.
- Assures effective systems validations and controls are established and maintained to transition new products and technologies from development to operational environment.
- Establish robust sustainable systems to ensure corrective and preventive measures are systematically implemented monitored and controlled and meet our ISO 9001 requirements.
- Create/Evaluate communicate and process appropriate Engineering Change Notices to reflect quality related changes in the production process.
- Develop and maintain work instructions for assigned areas.
- Perform in-station assembly audits by comparing work instructions to assembly process to ensure appropriate equipment tooling and parts are being followed/utilized.
- Investigate and make recommendations on the procurement of equipment to improve the manufacture of Elgin Products
- Lead process improvement projects utilizing lean principles to implement change as a leader participant and initiator.
- Develop modify apply and maintain quality standards and protocols.
- Creates and implements methods and procedures for inspecting testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and product equipment.
- Designs and/or specified inspection and testing mechanism and equipment.
- Conduct quality assurance tests.
- Flexibility to perform other duties and assignments as required.
Skills Required:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
- 2 years of quality engineering experience
- Experience in production environment
- Knowledge of basic engineering principles theories and concepts
- Possesses strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to develop relationships to allow for delivery of constructive feedback and/or corrections.
Anticipated Salary Range: $72000 - $85000
