Williams College is seeking a curious and analytical Advancement Data & Reporting Analyst to join the Office of College Relations (OCR). The Analyst will be a bridge between raw data and strategic decision-making. By interpreting complex datasets and visualizing trends the Analyst will empower our fundraising and engagement teams to make informed business decisions that support the mission of the College. As part of the Advancement Operations team the Analyst will also identify and resolve data integrity/quality issues within our database.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Data Analytics Prospect Management & Research the Advancement Data and Reporting Analyst is responsible for data analytics using statistical methods and models to generate graphs charts heat maps and other visualizations to assist end users in understanding the meaning behind the data.
The Analyst will also support OCR by designing and maintaining dashboards (using primarily Power BI) for data analysis to promote data visualization identify trends share insights review historical data and identify key performance indicators (KPIs). In addition the Advancement Data and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for writing and validating complex queries for data mining designing rich data visualizations to communicate complex ideas to leadership and developing specifications and proposed layouts in partnership with end users.
Collaborating with other teams within the Office of College Relations the Advancement Data and Reporting Analyst will work to maintain and achieve the highest level of data quality to build and sustain confidence in the reporting and visualization end products.

This is a full-time benefitted position on the Williams College campus in Williamstown MA. The pay range for this position is $75000-$85000 commensurate with experience.

Remote Work:
In select circumstances hybrid on-site/remote work arrangements may be available up to 2 days per week with approval for employees based in NY MA CT or VT subject to review and revision as policy evolves. This position requires a minimum 3 days per week of on-campus in person work following a fully in-person onboarding period.
