About the Job

Seasons is a comprehensive behavioral health center offering a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral health services to communities in the Northwest Iowa region. Were currently seeking a full-time Respite Care Provider. The Respite Care Provider is responsible for planning coordination and provision of temporary therapeutic respite care in 1:1 or group settings to provide parents and guardians a break from caregiving and providing children with a safe therapeutic environment. This position requires flexibility of some daytime hours in addition to evening and weekend availability. Respite services are provided in office and/or community-based settings and typically take place in the evenings on weekends and/or on days when school is not in session. This position could be based in Spencer IA or Spirit Lake IA.

Salary Range

$18.50 - $19.50 per hour (Commensurate with experience)

Requirements

A Bachelors degree in social work human services or a related field is required
At least 1 year of experience working directly with individuals with behavioral health concerns is required
At least 1 year of experience working with children is required
Must be willing and able to submit health history record forms
This position requires regular travel so a valid drivers license and reliable transportation is required
A current First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain one is required
