This Role: In a project team setting defines functional requirements creates documentation writes user stories and facilitates testing with the business stakeholders. Serves as liaison between IT and other business units to provide core competency and in-depth knowledge of product life cycle/inventory management from DCs to stores and customers. Responsibilities: - Work with the business stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements
- Work with the business stakeholders and project team to document requirements
- Work with the project team and system owners to identify and document impacted systems
- Conduct requirements walkthroughs with various cross functional teams and vendor partners
- Assist vendor partners and cross functional teams in creating user stories
- Work with the project team to identify highest priority functionality to be delivered in each sprint
- Create test plan and orchestrate testing
- Hand off the test plan to Testing Analyst and QE team for execution
- Provide help and guidance as needed during testing
Qualifications: - 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience working in the Retail industry
- Understand how product moves from inventory management to distribution center to stores/customers
- Experience with Atlassian suite specifically Jira and Confluence
- Comfortable working in a hybrid Agile and Waterfall approach
- Experience with facillitating testing with the business stakeholders
- Ability to gather requirements
- Ability to document processes
- Ability to gauge the system/solution meets the requirements
- Create test plans from requirements
- Driving the effort
