Job Summary

Job Title: Senior Python Developer Machine Learning (Banking Domain)

Location: Toronto ON- 4 days onsite in a week
Job Type: Full-Time

Required Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science Engineering or related field
5 years of Python development experience
2 years of hands-on Machine Learning experience
Experience working in banking or financial services environment
Strong understanding of:
- Supervised and unsupervised learning
- Model evaluation techniques
- Statistical analysis
- Data preprocessing techniques
Experience deploying ML models into production environments

Technical Skills

Programming & Frameworks

Advanced Python (OOP multi-threading performance optimization)
ML libraries: Scikit-learn TensorFlow PyTorch
Data libraries: Pandas NumPy
API development (FastAPI / Flask)

Data & Infrastructure

SQL and relational databases
Experience with big data tools (Spark is a plus)
Cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP)
Docker / Kubernetes (preferred)
CI/CD and DevOps practices

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with MLOps practices and model lifecycle management
Knowledge of credit scoring models or fraud analytics
Experience in real-time decisioning systems
Familiarity with capital markets or trading systems (plus)
Agile/Scrum experience
