SD-WAN Engineer

Nashville TN - onsite

6 Months

Pay rate: $75 - $80/hr on W2

Candidates must be local to Nashville and available to come onsite to the office 4 days/weekResponsibilities

• Provide break/fix troubleshooting and operational support for Cisco Viptela and Fortinet SD-WAN environments
• Engineer and support new SD-WAN site deployments across multiple U.S. locations
• Assist with SD-WAN architecture and design efforts as needed
• Perform optimization and performance tuning of SD-WAN and WAN connectivity
• Support enterprise routing and switching functions within a healthcare network environment
• Work across underlay and overlay networking concepts ensuring stable WAN/MPLS connectivity
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders; strong collaboration skills are essential

Qualifications

• 3 5 years of direct experience troubleshooting engineering and supporting Cisco SD-WAN technologies
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Viptela SD-WAN (vManage vBond vSmart)
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet SD-WAN
• Strong knowledge of enterprise routing and switching
• Required protocol experience:
  • BGP
  • OSPF
  • Experience with DMVPN preferred
• Solid understanding of:
  • Overlay/underlay network design
  • WAN and MPLS environments
• Ability to support occasional after-hours work as needed while maintaining a 40-hour work week

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Meraki SD-WAN is beneficial but not required
