Job Summary

JOB TITLE: Metrology Technician
LOCATION: Mesa AZ
PAY RATE: $50-80/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Hands-on assembly of tooling and precision fixtures
Handle and position large structures using forklifts scissor lifts boom lifts cranes or hoists
Install and accurately locate concrete mounting points in floors and position structures within 0.005 tolerance
Operate and utilize laser trackers and other precision positioning systems
Perform inspection and measurement using CAD or 3D software such as:
- PC Demus
- Verisurf
- Geomagic
- Polyworks
- Spatial Analyzer
- Similar metrology software
Lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 lbs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and accuracy of assemblies

Requirements:

3 years of hands-on experience setting up large-scale precision fixtures or tooling
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Proficient with CAD and/or 3D inspection software packages and standard Microsoft Office tools
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely operate material handling equipment
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

3 years experience with large aircraft assembly and inspection
Metal shop skills such as welding grinding or machining
Prior experience in aerospace or defense environments
