He whakamārama mo te tūranga mahi About therole:
The Assistant Financial Accountant is responsible for providing accounting support services which include daily bank processes month end processes journals balance sheet reconciliations and tax support. Youll have a customer centric focus in assisting the business by investigating and answering queries and assisting with financial processes.
As well as the above responsibilities you will also assist with preparation of annual and half-year financial statements answering external auditor queries and supporting asset and lease accounting tasks.
Ngā pukenga e rapu nei mātou What (skills) you will bring:
- A sound general understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Excellent skills in MS Office suite specifically Excel
- An undergraduate degree in accounting business or similar
- Ideally working towards or intend to work toward a CA qualification
Youll be someone who genuinely enjoys responding to our stakeholder needs and queries in a timely and professional manner and looking to develop their career in accounting. Youll be great at building and maintaining effective working relationships and be enthusiastic at exploring new ways to improve processes and systems.
