Heidelberg Materials is one of the worlds largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9000 employees.
What Youll Be Doing
- Safely operate loaders and related heavy equipment to move load and stockpile materials.
- Load customer and plant trucks accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic preventive maintenance.
- Support yard operations by communicating clearly with plant scale and dispatch personnel.
- Maintain a safe orderly and compliant work area at all times.

- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and confidently in an active yard environment.
- Strong awareness of surroundings and dedication to safe work practices.
- Capability to follow operational instructions and adapt to changing priorities.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.
- Reliability and attention to detail when handling materials and documenting activities.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination drug/alcohol screen and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment inclement weather heat cold humidity and elevated noise level.
What We Offer
- $21.10 to $29.00 per hour
