Job Summary
Phlebotomist
Location: Palm Coast Florida 32164
Duration: 8 Weeks (Potential Extension)
Pay Rate: $24/hour
Total Hours: 42.5 hours/week
Work Setting: Onsite
Schedule:
Monday & Thursday: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
Wednesday & Friday: 6:30 AM 3:30 PM
Position Overview
A healthcare facility in Palm Coast FL is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist / Medical Assistant with Occupational Health experience to support both front and back-office clinical operations.
This role requires strong clinical skills attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with staff to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and room patients
Schedule appointments and manage phone calls
Take and document vital signs
Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture
Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
Administer vaccines
Provide clinical and administrative support as needed
Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
Support front and back-office workflow
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (in addition to externship)
Occupational Health experience required
Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required
EMR experience required
BLS or CPR certification required
Strong communication and computer skills
High attention to detail
