What youll do:
prepare ingredients and cook meals according to menu standards and dietary requirements
follow established recipes portion guidelines quality expectations and presentation standards
support meal service by coordinating with dietary staff and ensuring timely accurate plating
maintain a clean safe and organized kitchen and work area
follow all sanitation safety and food-handling procedures
monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to leadership
assist with dishwashing equipment cleaning and closing duties as needed
contribute to a positive resident-focused dining experience every shift
What youll bring:
1 year of experience as a cook or in a similar food service role
strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
basic math skills for portioning and recipe adjustments
ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs frequently
must be able to work a rotating weekend schedule
high school diploma or GED preferred
successful completion of prescreening hiring requirements
