Amazon KSA is looking for a smart enthusiastic hard-working and creative candidate to join as a Vendor Manager for the Pet Products category.
As a Vendor Manager you will be responsible for developing and owning the strategy for the Pet Products category at Amazon. Within this role you will have the opportunity to establish and maintain strong vendor partnerships manage category profitability and identify means to improve the customer experience. We are seeking a seasoned business leader with a broad skill set that demonstrates analytical horsepower the ability to lead and motivate a team excellent business judgment strong vendor management and negotiation skills deep curiosity to uncover how things work and a passion for creating a world-class shopping experience for our customers.
You will work with vendors of all sizes and must have the leadership presence and communication skills to represent Amazon at all levels of these organizations. Experience in business analytics strategic thinking negotiations and operations are required.

Key job responsibilities
As a Vendor Manager for the Pet Products category at Amazon your key responsibilities will be to develop and execute the strategic vision for the category foster strong partnerships with vendors and optimize category performance to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
You will be responsible for analyzing market trends customer insights and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and drive category growth. Establishing and nurturing relationships with key pet product vendors and suppliers will be a crucial aspect of your role as you negotiate favorable terms pricing and promotional strategies to ensure profitability.
Monitoring and analyzing category-level sales profitability and inventory data will enable you to implement strategies to improve performance optimize product selection and enhance the customer experience. Collaborating cross-functionally with teams like Merchandising Marketing and Supply Chain will be essential in aligning on priorities and driving synergies.
As an innovative thinker you will spearhead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that leverage technological advancements and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Pet Products category at Amazon.

- 5 years of retail operations product or program management or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience
- Bachelors degree or 3 years of professional or military experience
- Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership
- Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements
- Experience in vendor negotiations pricing and promotion inventory management and product development
