About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to take full ownership of the tendering function ensuring accurate commercially sound and consistently high-quality submissions without reliance on the Director.
Reporting directly to the Director your responsibilities will include:
- Improving hit rate margin discipline and overall tender quality
- Preparing accurate commercially sound pricing and detailed construction estimates
- Taking full ownership of tenders end-to-end from scope review through to submission
- Putting quotes together presenting to builders negotiating and actively chasing outcomes
- Building and refining estimating systems templates and workflows while coordinating with the Offshore QS and project stakeholders
This is a full-time remote role with potential for an office-based position in the future as the business grows.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A structured organised and professional approach that builders trust
- Strong scope interpretation skills and the ability to identify commercial risk
- The confidence to operate autonomously and take full ownership of outcomes
- High commercial awareness including margin control and negotiation capability
- 34 years experience in the construction industry with building estimator experience highly desirable
