Position Summary:

The Assistant Branch Manager position at a HUB is classified as Exempt as this type of location serves as a central distribution point supporting other branches in the region. A HUB functions as the companys main distribution center handling both inside and outside sales supplying multiple locations and serving walk-in customers.

Primary Duties:

Hire and manage coach mentor train and support all direct reports
Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner with good communication skills
Generate and maintain accurate required documentation
Manage inventory control and cycle counting while ensuring quality control
Communicate in a positive manner with internal and external personnel
Collaborate with all appropriate departments and personnel to ensure customer satisfaction
Promote employee teamwork to achieve the highest level of customer service and ethical business practices
Encourage positive thinking approaches to problem solving and motivation through employee recognition
Provide superior customer service and support company goals
Address and resolve personnel issues

Basic Requirements:

Must be over the age of 21 to apply
Solid computer skills including use of MS Office with a willingness to learn new software programs. Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 a plus
Experience with industrial distribution preferred. Familiarity with industrial and hydraulic hose and fittings especially Parker Hannifin a plus

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Job requires frequent lifting up to 70 pounds stooping reaching above shoulder level pushing pulling constantly walking/standing on cement flooring and climbing ladders as needed
Work environment may vary: warehouse fluctuating temperature and inventory in various storage arrangements office work manufacturing machine shops agricultural operations
