Job Summary
Senior Mechanical Engineer

Rate: $120-130K

Responsibilities:
- Plan design analyze and test to ensure performance reliability and conformance to all applicable requirements specifications cost and schedules.
- Plan develop and coordinate tasks for engineering projects as an individual contributor or as a member of a cross-functional team.
- Create and develop engineering project documentation as required.
- Manage mechanical engineering projects from concept to final deployment onto the manufacturing floor.
- Investigate the latest engineering technology to continuously improve manufacturing processes.
- Mentor and lead other engineering professionals to provide role model professional engineering behavior.
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as determined.
- Perform related duties or responsibilities as assigned or requested.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; Master degree is a plus.
- 5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite solid modeling and FEA are required.
- Familiarity with MIL specifications Autodesk Inventor mechanical shock analysis testing and project management experience preferred.
- High level of verbal and written communication skills along with interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Results-oriented with a willingness to take responsibility and initiative.
- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High proficiency in Excel Word PowerPoint.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced growth environment.
- Proven ability to establish effective working relationships at all levels.
- Excellent organizational analytical quantitative and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
