The Opportunity
Join Veo as aSenior Android Engineerand play a key role in taking our mobile app to the next level. Based in Copenhagen youll collaborate closely with product managers designers and fellow engineers to craft exceptional user experiences that connect seamlessly with our hardware and platform ecosystem.

What You Will Do
- Write high-quality maintainable Kotlin code to deliver incremental product features.
- Design and implement complex Android features with scalability and cross-module coordination in mind.
- Review code and mentor engineers through constructive feedback setting a high technical bar across the team.
- Act as a technical sparring partner on architectural topics discussing trade-offs and long-term implications.
- Collaborate closely with product design and backend teams to shape technical requirements and solutions.
- Participate in design-thinking workshops and translate product needs into scalable technical implementations.
- Build test and release new versions of the Android application.
- Write automated tests and ensure code quality reliability and performance.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and proactively address technical debt.
- Improve engineering practices by enhancing CI/CD pipelines testing strategies and development workflows.
What You Could Bring
- 5 years of professional experience in Android development and deep knowledge ofKotlin Android SDK and modern architecture patterns (MVVM MVI Clean Architecture).
- Strong experience withJetpack Composeand modern Android tooling.
- Solid understanding of reactive programming usingCoroutinesandFlow.
- Experience building modular maintainable and testable codebases.
- Strong understanding of server-side APIs and RESTful principles.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines automated testing and release processes.
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
- A willingness to mentor other engineers and lead by example.
- High standards for code quality and architectural excellence.
- A collaborative team player with a passion for building great user experiences.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
