Job Title:Accountant (Zoho)-jewellery-Varachha-30k

Job Summary

We are looking to hire a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant for our Surat (Varachha) office. The candidate must have hands-on experience with Zoho accounting software and be capable of independently managing day-to-day accounting operations related to Diamond and Jewellery statutory compliance and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate books of accounts on a daily basis
Handle Zoho Books / Zoho Accounting end-to-end (mandatory)
Manage sales purchase expense and journal entries
Reconcile bank statements cash and ledgers regularly
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports
Handle GST compliance:
GST returns (GSTR-1 GSTR-3B reconciliation)
Input tax credit tracking
Assist in TDS calculations returns and compliance
Coordinate with CA and auditors for audits and filings
Monitor accounts receivable & payable follow up on pending payments
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and Indian laws
Maintain proper documentation and filing (digital & physical)

Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of practical accounting experience
Strong proficiency in Zoho Books (non-negotiable)
Working knowledge of GST TDS and basic income tax
Good command over Excel / Google Sheets
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organizational and time-management skills

Preferred (Added Advantage)
Experience working with trading manufacturing or Jewellery retail businesses
Exposure to inventory accounting
Prior experience in jewellery / luxury / product-based businesses
Ability to support management with financial insights and reports

Month-end books must be closed within defined timelines
Zero pending reconciliations beyond approved timelines
